Complacency of Silence:
Darfur
May 23
8:00pmComplacency of Silence: Darfur is an original play about the
humanitarian crisis in Darfur, Sudan. Described by many as a
genocide, more than 400,000 men, women and children have been killed and
over 2 1/2 million people displaced. The play puts a human face on
the victims of this province and challenges our complacency. The
playwright, Lee Patton Chiles, developed the play based on interviews
with Darfur refugees, aid workers and experts on the crisis. |
